Initial revenue projections from the Haiti Relief Concert are in. The event raised $42, 566 in ticket sales.
The estimated total income is $162, 566 though official revenue estimates will not be available until later this week.
“The ticket sales will not change, but expenses will,” said Morris Hawkins, chief financial officer of student government association. There is no final figure as to how much was spent on the concert. Hawkins said official documents with expenses should be available later this week.
The most recent reconciliation documents indicate the funds allotted for each artist.
According to the initial projection, $40,000 was allotted for Trey Songz, $40,000 for Common and $25,000 for Fabolous.
SGA allocated a total of $120,000 for the concert’s execution. Final income will be available later on this week.
