Death at a Funeral slated to entertain movie goers

Comedy fans are awaiting the movie debut of “Death at a Funeral,” the remake to the 2007 British film of the same name directed by Frank Oz.The movie features a predominantly African-American cast and includes popular comedians such as Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock and Tracy Morgan.When a disfunctional family reunites to mourn the passing of the family patriarch, the funeral gathering quickly turns into a fiasco. Family secrets are uncovered and threaten to tarnish the family’s reputation. The original film was set in Britain, however, the new film will have an urban American setting.With a comedic filled cast, “Death at a Funeral” is slated to have movie goers laughing throughout the film.“Death at a Funeral” will be released in theaters on April 16.
